On Sunday, November 16 Makayla received her first communion. In our church they recommend the kids and parents go through a communion class the week prior. They talked about why we have communion, what the adults feel when they take communion, learning the Lords prayer and any questions the adults and kids had about communion. After church that day, we celebrated by having brunch at Old Country Buffet.
