Sister's Weekend

This year I was invited by my sister to attend an annual "Sister's Weekend" with her sister-in-laws. My sister flew in from Texas and then we traveled to Ledges State Park in Boone, Iowa. We all had a great time and it was nice to get to spend that time with my sister!

Bike Rider

We scored this bike seat for Allie on a garage sale for only $40. She loves going out for rides! Unfortunately, we bought it as it was turning colder so hopefully we can still get some good use out of it in the spring.

Happy Mother's Day

I had a very nice Mother's Day, I received some beautiful flowers, my favorite chocolates and a heartfelt letter from Makayla. They took me out for lunch the day before and breakfast that morning.

New Chores

Makayla has learned how to do a few things around the house lately,

she does her own laundry and she scoops the litter.

Our New Home

Well, the last box finally got unpacked and everything now has a place! We love, love, love our new home and it really does fit us as a family. There is a few things that we would like to remodel or change but for now, we are very content!

A little rotting wood in the front of the house, we replace it

and now need to paint it.
